rome torres (they/them) is a theater maker based in new york’s mid-hudson valley. a femme of many hats; including dramaturg, director, and stage manager.

they are currently working on SUNY New Paltz productions of The Inseparables by TJ Young and Legally Blonde: The Musical.

rome has interests in devising and new work development, as well as stories connected to queerness and the lives of BIPOC. they are dedicated to bringing a collaborative and empathetic spirit to every room. they also have a deep affinity for live music, drag, sewing, and exploring nature!
